Mining Giant Sibanye-Stillwater Boss Neal Froneman is in the C-SUITE.
Sibanye-Stillwater reported record headline earnings of R36.9bn for the 12 months to December representing a year-on-year increase of 27%. A final dividend of R5.3bn or R1,83 a share, was declared taking the total dividend to R4,79/share or R13.8bn. CEO Neal Froneman says the Group intends to continue growing its battery metals portfolio as it further integrates into the European battery ecosystem. The latest move in this regard sees Sibanye-Stillwater investing into a R1.7bn European fund with a strategic stake in a battery Gigafactory.
